    The BGE makes the most perfect pizzas.

    You need high, indirect heat to make a really good pizza and the BGE easily gets to a hot enough temperature. When making pizza, I place my baking stone on top of the conveggtor plate to insulate the base of the pizza from the heat of the fire. The baking plate cooks the underside of the pizza and the indirect hot air cooks the top.

    Cooking pizza in a BGE also adds a delicious wood-fired, smoky taste to the pizza.
