Durban EGGheads had the opportunity to enjoy an Easter themed Cooking Class on 08 April 2014 at award-winning 9th Avenue Bistro in Morningside. Chef Graham Neilson has been experimenting with his EGG for a while and offered a delectable 3 course menu. Starters consisted of tortilla wraps with slow roasted rabbit haunch, mustard mayonnaise, tomato salsa and onion jam. The star of the show was undoubtedly the stuffed rabbit loin with bacon, sweetcorn and miso with potato mash. Roast figs with Gorgonzola, white chocolate ice cream and candied pecans rounded off this feast.

Our guests had the opportunity to interact with fellow EGGheads, ask questions, learn new techniques and generally enjoy an evening out at one of Durban’s most popular eateries.
