Before the Cape Town weather turned decidedly foul, winos and foodies were treated to a spectacularly beautiful Winter’s day at the Big Bottle Festival at Constantia’s Cellars Hohenhort Hotel.

Luxuries – or necessities, depending on who you’re talking to – like fine whisky, cigars and more set the perfect backdrop to this Food and Wine festival. Award-winning chef, Peter Tempelhoff, opted to quickly whip up some fillet on his Big Green Egg. The outcome? Delicious, of course!

Fortunately, EGGheads know that this week’s turn for the worse weather-wise, won’t deter them from enjoying The Ultimate Cooking Experience and that this too shall pass…
