Joburg foodies have not one, but two, opportunities this weekend to see the Big Green Egg in action. Last year, chef Duncan Doherty from Le Quartier Francais, treated guests to delicious quails off the Mini EGG. This year, acclaimed charcuterer and chef, Neil Jewell takes his “Bacon of the Month Club” to the Nirox Foundation and will be serving up scrumptious bacon burgers. Celebrity chef, Caroline McCann from Braeside Meat Market, is no stranger to the EGG having cooked on it at the recent Taste of Cape Town festival. Her grassfed wors and Wagyu gourmet boerie rolls are set to inspire.
