Good food and wine lovers enjoyed a beautiful day out on Saturday afternoon at Buitenverwachting Wine Estate, Constantia. The fourth annual event kicked off with a five course degustation menu by Peter Tempelhoff of Cellars Hohenort’s The Greenhouse Restaurant, paired with 16 local and international wines on Friday night. The Fine Wine and Food Pairing Festival took place on Saturday afternoon on the lawns of the estate where guests could sample the wares of well-known chefs and wine producers, with some of the food being prepared on the Big Green Egg.
