Sam Linsell’s Tasty Tomato Tart


  • Good quality puff pastry
  • Passata or Tomato Sauce
  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Mozzarella
  • Fresh basil leaves

Cooking Time:

20 minutes


  1. Set the EGG to 180◦C.
  2. Place a sheet of puff pastry on a lined baking tray and score an indentation with a knife, about 1cm from the edge.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce or passata lightly over the middle square, top with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella and bake in the EGG for 20 minutes.
  4. Top with fresh basil leaves.
