Big Green Egg and our partners, Braeside Meat Market and The Wolftrap wine once again showcased at Taste of Joburg, one of SA’s most popular food festivals.
Held at Montecasino in Sandton, this outdoor festival shows off the very best of Joburg’s restaurants and food vendors.
On the Big Green Egg menu were slow braised beef tortillas with a chipotle sauce, as well as a Pinto bean, corn and slaw vegetarian option. Sample Wolftrap Wine, courtesy of Boekenhoutskloof, washed it down beautifully on what was probably Joburg’s hottest few days this Spring!
Our Mexican inspired menu was such a hit that tourists from that country called it “the most authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico!” – high praise indeed.
